1. Does ON-TIME MEDICAL CARE prescribe or refill controlled substances?
A. We do NOT prescribe ADD/ADHD or PAIN MEDS. These include:

- Adderall/Amphetamine salts
- Focalin/Dexmethylphenidate
- Ritalin/Concerta/Metadate/Daytrana/Methylphenidate
- Strattera/Atomoxetine
- Vyvanse/Lisdexamfetamine
PAIN MEDS
- Codeine
- Demerol
- Dilaudid
- Hydrocodone
- Hydromorphone
- Meperidine
- Morphine
- Oxycodone
- Oxycontin
- Percocet
- Tramadol
- Ultracet
- Ultram

2. Is MDVIP a concierge medical practice?
A. No.
- Concierge practices are cash only
- We are a membership-only practice
- We work with most major insurances companies and Medicare
- The $2,200 annual fee is in addition to having health insurance
3.As an affiliate of MDVIP do you offer a family plan membership?
A. We do not.
- At the present time we only offer individual memberships
4. Do you offer same-day or next-day office visit?
A. Yes. As an MDVIP member we will do our best to fit you in.
- If you call us in the morning we can offer you a same day visit
- If you call us after 12 noon we can offer you a next day visit
- Please note: The office is closed Saturday and Sunday
5. Do you offer same-day Tele Medicine?
A. Yes. Please read below:
We offer Televisits for:
- Abnormal Follow-up visits - When no extra labs are needed
- Anxiety
- Birth Control
- Depression
- Discuss Quest lab results that came back in red
- General discussion of health concerns
- Insomnia
- Upper respiratory issues (Cough, Cold, Sinus)
- Upper respiratory - Must be able to take temperature at home
- STD screening (Future labs may be needed)
- Travel Consultation (Anxiety and vaccines)
- UTIs
- *Co Payment / Deductible apply to all visits*
We DO NOT offer Televisits for:
- Abnormal Follow-up visits - When extra labs are needed
- Blood work
- Gastrointestinal conditions
- Injuries
- Labs or lab orders (of any kind)
- Lower respiratory issues (Asthma, Bronchitis, Pneumonia)
- PrEP (In-office testing is necessary)
- Pre-Operative screening
- Referrals to see specialists
- Refills on medications
- Yearly Physicals
6. Does your practice require patients to wear a face mask?
A. Yes. We see patients with the following conditions:
- Adeno viruses
- Bronchitis
- Colds
- Corona viruses
- Coughs
- Covid
- Flu
- Pneumonia
- Rhino viruses
- Strep Throat
- Respiratory Syncytial Virus
For your protection, we will provide you with a mask during your visit.
7. Does anyone in the office speak Spanish?
A. No.
8. How long has Dr. Coker been practicing medicine?
A. Since June 2000.
9. Do you offer Flu and Covid-19 vaccines?
A. Yes and No.
- We do give out the yearly flu vaccine starting in October of every year
- We do not carry the Covid-19 vaccine due to lack of appropriate storage
- Dr. Coker highly advices all her patients to get both yearly
10. Where do I go for my lab work?
A. Labs are done in our office during your visit.
11. How long do I have to return for follow-up care if my results are ABNORMAL?
A. It depends on the severity:
- If URGENT - Same day
- If ABNORMAL - Within 2 weeks
12. Why was my prescription refill request denied?
A. More than likely because your last physical was more than a year ago.
13. Why are patients required to have voicemail, text, and email?
A. It's the 21st Century, we communicate using all 3 mediums
- Not having a working voicemail will preclude you from becoming our patient
- Not having a U.S. phone number will preclude you from becoming our patient
14. Why do patients have to call from the same phone number that is on their medical chart?
A. To make sure your information is not given to someone pretending to be you.
15. Can I give my husband/wife/parent/secretary/significant other full authority over my medical records?
A. No.
