The Number of New Patients We Accept Varies From Month to Month
- We are a mature practice founded in 2012 with over 5,000 patients
- Having reached this milestone we can only accept new patients by releasing old ones
- Established patients are released after 2 years of not seeing them
- Some months we have up to 5 openings and some months we have none
Covid-19 Vaccination
- As per Florida Executive Order 21-81 we can not turn away anti-vaxxer patients who have not been vaccinated against Covid-19
- However, Dr. Coker has been and will continue to be a staunch advocate of all vaccines, recommending Yearly Flu and Yearly Covid-19 Boosters
- Finding a Primary Care Physician who aligns with your medical views for compliance is essential and Miami has 3,107 to chose from
How Do I Become a New Patient
- First read this page in its entirety
- Once our availability and your insurance has been verified
- Our office will contact you either by phone or text
Late Policy
- All visits are cancelled after 10 minutes - No exceptions
Reasons that will prevent you from becoming a patient
- Full or inactive voicemail
- Name on your ID and insurance card do not match
Cancelling / Rescheduling
- Minimum 2 days notice - No exceptions
- New Patients: Cancelling or trying to re-schedule your first visit, one day before your appointment will preclude you from becoming our patient
- Existing Patients: Three cancellations or three re-schedules, one day before your visit, will terminate patient/doctor relationship
Immediate termination
- Hanging up the phone, using profanity, being confrontational
- Refusing to wear a face mask, provided by us, during your visit
- Refusing or waiting longer than 3 months to schedule labs ordered by Dr. Coker
- Refusing or not coming back within 2 weeks for follow-up care due to abnormal results
